Traditional Thai dancers and musicians perform at UH Manoa's East-West Center...


The troupe is among the most accomplished masters of dance and music in the Thai government's Royal Fine Arts Department in Bangkok and will be performing classical and folk styles from diverse regions of Thailand. Performances will include the Khon, an impressive mask dance that depicts the story of Ramayana, an epic tale that has stretched across the Asia and across cultures.
Musicians will be performing using tradtional bonglang, a traditional wooden xylophone.

When: March 1 & 2

Where: UH Manoa, East-West Center

How much: $15 general admission; $12 for students, seniors and military.
