A man serving a life sentence for murder is given one day to reconcile with his teenage son. A spoiled 19-year-old city boy finds love in a country town where his credit card is not accepted. A piano teacher discovers her prodigy student’s life-changing secret. Pursue these plot lines and others at this weekend’s K-Fest, presented by the Hawai‘i International Film Festival at Dole Cannery. The eight-film showcase is Hawai‘i’s third annual Korean film festival, established to support HIFF’s mission to advance understanding and encourage cultural exchange among people in Asia, the Pacific and North America.
